The Bunting Visual Resources Library (BVRL) is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual who can contribute to the development and maintenance of image collections supporting the curriculum in the College of Fine Arts and School of Architecture and Planning as part of a collaborative team.
The selected applicant will become our digital images and imaging services specialist; joining the data & access services and collections & outreach specialists in our work group
Primary responsibilities may include managing all aspects of digital image collections, including acquisition, processing and editing, storage and archiving.
This individual will establish and maintain policies and procedures which match industry standards for digital visual resources.
Under minimal supervision, the selected individual will conduct wide ranging and complex enterprise system administrative and financial tasks.
The ideal applicant will have visual resources experience, know standards and trends, and have experience with complex relational databases, Internet-based resources and technology used with visual resources.
In addition, this person must be able to assist with daily front desk operations including circulation, reference and student employee supervision.
BVRL LIS3s also manage resource collections, conduct user support and instruction, and perform original cataloging.

Directly related Master’s or Terminal degree; at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Bachelor’s degree; at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Image capture experience using both film based cameras and digital acquisition equipment
- Experience with advanced digital images tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Skill in the use and maintenance of other complex relational databases and or digital asset management systems in a visual resources environment
- File and record management experience
- End-user training and support experience
